The Role
Due to growth, we are looking for a Junior Script Developer to join the national IT team based in Melbourne on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Systems and Operations Manager, the purpose of the role is to improve IT-related business processes and contribute to exciting projects for the firm and our clients.
Some key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Assist in designing and developing C#, Python and ASP.NET scripting to support internal and external clients and stakeholders;
  • Using applicable programming to optimise design, performance and quality while evolving our technology stack;
  • Undertaking activities such as coding, testing scripting and configuration areas in related technologies;
  • Assisting the testing function and providing feedback during the development process; and
  • Staying up to date on emerging technologies and contributing new ideas whilst promoting best practice.

Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science or similar. Ideally you will have familiarity or strong interest in scripting languages such as C#, Python or ASP.NET, however those with some experience will be highly regarded. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client focus. To succeed in this role, you will have a high aptitude and willingness to learn new skills and systems and will take initiative for solving problems.
